Coffee and Donuts: Who doesn't love a donut? This is a fun ministry in which the entire family can be involved. We need lots of volunteers as we gather most Sundays following the 9:00 a.m. Mass. See the following document to learn more about what this ministry entails.
Wine and Cheese: We gather for wine and cheese on the first Saturday of each month after the 4:30 p.m. Mass in the rectory. This is a great way to meet with other parishioners in a relaxed atmosphere. You do not need to be a wine connoisseur to join us.We hold several parish social events throughout the year and need the help of many volunteers. Events include fall Chili Cook-off, an annual Mardi Gras dinner, a senior brunch in the spring, and a fun picnic at the end of the summer. For more information or to volunteer, please contact the parish office at (509) 747-4421.
This multi-parish group of dedicated knitters has delivered more than 400 shawls to parishioners and friends. Each shawl provides comfort after a loss or in time of illness or recovery. We usually meet the first Thursday of each month from 1:00 p m-3:00 p m , but this is subject to change. For more information or to request a shawl, contact the parish office at 509-747-4421.
This multi-parish group consists of new and experienced quilters. Over the last ten years, we have made hundreds of baby quilts for Catholic Charities and lap quilts for nursing home residents. We meet Wednesdays, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., in the Parish Center. No quilting experience is necessary as we will gladly teach you! For more information, please contact the parish office at 509-747-4421.
Parish members assist in the faith formation of individuals who are becoming Catholics. This is a great opportunity to mentor or sponsor someone who is interested in joining our Church and to grow in one's own faith. Classes meet Mondays, 7:00 p.m., September through Easter. For more information or to volunteer, please contact Ivana Mullner via email or call (509) 747-7972.
Volunteers are needed to help coordinate our important sacramental celebrations throughout the year. Opportunities include helping with receptions following First Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation. Display your hospitality skills while witnessing an important event in someone's life. For more information or to volunteer, please contact the parish office at 509-747-4421.
