We have subscribed to FORMED, an online gateway to outstanding Catholic content. Through FORMED, parishioners can access numerous Catholic resources: podcasts, video talks, ebooks and movies. There are short videos to help you prepare for Sunday Mass, resources for Advent, and video-based study programs - all easily accessed in one place.
Cataldo Parent Club is hosting a family craft event. Please come and enjoy hot cocoa and cookies while making an Advent wreath as part of our spiritual preparation for Christmas.
Listen to the latest episode of our local diocesan radio show. Bishop Daly and the three vicars (Fr. Darrin Connall, Fr. Pat Kerst, and Fr. Brian Mee) talk about faith, life and challenging issues of the day - while always keeping in mind the joy our faith inspires.
Fr. Mee will lead us in prayer through our newly refurbished Seven Sorrows of Mary statues. During the 'walk,' we will learn the history of this devotional, which dates back to the Middle Ages. As is the custom with all of our "Walking Tour" events, we will have a social hour with Wine & Cheese immediately following.
In the month of September, we are asked to renew our commitment to share our time and talents with the parish. Please complete the online ministry sign-up form to indicate areas of interest.
Our Bible study uses content from The Great Adventure faith formation program, which is about touching lives and drawing people into closer relationship with God and each other. We offer two different studies: one 8-week and another 20-week program.
Interested in becoming Catholic or learning more about Catholicism? Did you grow up in the Church and have often wished you could "relearn" your faith as an adult? RCIA is a great place for adults - Catholic and non-Catholic alike - to connect with our faith in new and deeper ways. This year, RCIA will meet on Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. Classes begin September 20, 2018.
Enjoy lunch, dinner or dessert with your small supper group. We will meet three times per year and there is no pressure to host. Contact the parish office if you are interested in being part of a group or have interest in hosting.
Fr. Mee leads us on another of his adventures. This time we will celebrate the summer solstice with prayer, history, and fellowship. Vespers is at 6:00 p.m., historic tour of Cannon Hill park at 6:15 p.m., and Wine & Cheese social at 7:00 p.m.
Two things come to mind when considering “the lusty month of May” - lilacs and Mother’s Day. Fr. Brian Mee writes how the residents of the Lilac City might consider how the lilac tells a story of motherhood.

Catholics are encouraged to receive the Sacrament of Confession as part of their Lenten preparation. This is often done at communal penance services. We will observe this practice through a holy hour of prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament. Those who attend will have the opportunity to attend individual confessions during Adoration.
The tradition of visiting “station churches” dates to sixth century Rome. In keeping with tradition, each Thursday evening of Lent, we will visit a designated church to recall its history, reflect on its patron saint, and spend time in communal prayer.
